Care, Connection, and Celebration
September brought meaningful opportunities to care for the families at Pat’s Place, celebrate together, and prepare for the months ahead.
We welcomed a surprise visit from two representatives of the Ministry of Women’s Family Violence Program, who toured and inspected our facilities. Their visit offered an opportunity to share the work taking place at Pat’s Place and our commitment to supporting mothers and children.
Throughout the month, families visited the health center for general and mental health check-ups. Caring for both physical and emotional well-being remains an important part of our ongoing support, alongside helping children continue their education.
One of September’s joyful highlights was celebrating the school’s anniversary with the mothers and children. With spring arriving, the celebration gave families a chance to come together, enjoy the season, and share a special moment in their children’s school life.
Looking ahead, the children have a school-organized outing planned for the first week of October. We will also continue providing regular health and educational support while preparing upcoming workshops within the school and family activity schedule.
